What we collect
When you join the Bautier launch list, we collect your email address, the time you subscribed, your consent record, and information needed to manage delivery, bounces, complaints and unsubscribe requests.
Our hosting provider may process basic technical information, such as an IP address, browser details and request logs, to deliver and protect the website. We do not use advertising trackers, sell personal information or run visitor analytics on the public website.
Why we use it
- To send updates about Formstudie I, prototype development and the planned Kickstarter launch.
- To confirm and record your subscription preferences.
- To operate, secure and diagnose the website and email service.
- To meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
Who handles it
Bautier uses Cloudflare to host the website and subscriber database, and Resend to deliver email. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services. Resend stores customer data in the United States. Other service processing may also occur outside Australia. Our Cookie policy explains the limited use of necessary website cookies.
We may disclose information when required by law, or to professional advisers and service providers who help us operate Bautier. We do not rent or sell the launch list.
How long we keep it
We keep your subscription record while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we retain the minimum record needed to honour that request and prevent further marketing. Delivery and security records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes or as required by law.
Your choices
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask to access, correct or delete information we hold about you by emailing hello@bautierwatches.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Questions or complaints
Email hello@bautierwatches.com with a privacy question or complaint. We will review it and respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our information practices or legal obligations change. The current version and update date will remain available on this page.
